This crazy year is finally coming to an end!  After a nice respite we will be thrilled to have all of the children back in the school building live and in person in the fall!

This crazy year is winding down and it's bittersweet to see it end. We are all looking forward to having the children five days a week next year!  We will be closing out the year with our study of Fundamental Needs and our annual Talent Show!  Please encourage your child to sign up and show their talents next week.  

On Monday at 5:30 we will be holding a parent information night to discuss the year, summer goals, and expectations for the 2021-2022 school year.  Please join us!  We will be using our regular classroom zoom link:

 The children are currently focused on the differences between needs and wants. The final project for this work is for each student to choose a country or time period to explore.  They will then show examples of the different needs of their chosen culture: food, shelter, clothing, transportation, defense, religion, beauty and ornamentation, communication, and music and dance.  These projects may include art projects, reports, presentations or any other way to share their information.  These projects should be worked on from now until the end of the year.  Please encourage your child to take his/her time on this valuable work.
