Fox and Bear Community

Welcome back! We hope you enjoyed some fun in the snow last week. If you haven't already, please send in any work your students completed when they were home. We will be doing presentations all week on their research for Black History Month. Students took their work plans home on Friday, 1/17, for you to review and discuss together. We plan to send these home each Friday. As of now, we are not asking for work plans to be returned. Please remove them from the folder so that we know that you received it. 

We have sent out links to sign up for family conferences in February. Please let us know if you didn't receive it or need to schedule an alternate time. Information on our class Valentine's Day celebration will be sent out by the end of this week.

Fox and Bear Community

Happy 2025! We are so happy to have our second semester under way. Students spent last week getting back into routines and lessons. Many students achieved or surpassed their work completion goals for the week. Please continue to encourage your students to meet their daily goal of 4-5 works per day on Tuesdays through Fridays. Beginning this week, students will bring their work plans home each Friday for you to review and discuss together. 

Students also completed group research projects on the life of President Jimmy Carter. They did an excellent job working together on gathering and recording information, creating visuals, and presenting their research to the class. This week, we will be learning about Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. as we approach the holiday on January 20th. 

Please be on the lookout for sign-up info coming soon regarding mid-year parent conferences to be held in February.
