Fox and Bear Community
April 16
We are continuing to study plants with a lesson on different types of plants coming up on Monday. Due to GMAS testing, our schedule is atypical for the next few weeks. Please pay close attention to the weekly plan below as well as announcements each day about changes in the schedule.
i-ready is currently required for students to use 2-3 times per week. While children are in the school building we are focusing on lessons and using manipulatives while still encouraging students to use i-ready at least once while they are in the building. Please use virtual learning days to encourage your child to work on math and language at least one time per week.
The fox classroom is in need of a tall bookshelf. If you have a shelf that you are looking to rehome or see one that you would like to purchase for our community we would greatly appreciate it!Each year, the third grade Fox and Bear students participate in a luncheon together to celebrate their time in Lower Elementary. Due to our different cohorts, this proves difficult this year. We would like to plan a 3rd grade picnic celebration at Daffin park on Saturday, May 22nd. Parents will be required to be present with their child and masks will be mandated when we are not eating/drinking. More details will come soon!
