This week we have been exploring the use of details to make our writing more interesting. The children are working hard to become authors with ideas to share and for their audience to enjoy.
Pets-Holidays/needs
The pets could use some supplies:
Guinea Pigs need bedding and pellet food
Loki the dragon needs fresh veggies/meal worms
Also, the pets need caretakers during the Thanksgiving and Winter Holidays. If you are interested in having a temporary pet, please let us know.
Support At Home/Homework
READ DAILY!!
Please encourage your child to read 20 minutes each day with you or independently.
Work Completion
If your child does not complete classroom work in a timely fashion they will be asked to complete this work at home as "Homework".
I-ready/Amira (Please encourage 30 minutes 2x weekly)

Children will enter their usernames and passwords to gain access to their account. Most of the children know these. Some first year students may need help with this. Please contact us if you need individual usernames/passwords.
