Fox and Bear Community
Our field trip to Fort Pulaski was a huge success! The children learned about what life was like in the 1800s. We participated in music and candle making. We also had the opportunity to card wool and to help bake corn bread in a Dutch oven over and under hot coals.
Thank you to all for your generosity in giving gifts to the Fox and Bear community for the holidays. We received several gift cards that we are using for the snacks for January. We will need additional funds to last for the rest of the school year. If you have the means to send in Kroger gift cards to use for snack we would greatly appreciate it. Please be sure to write your name and the amount on the gift card so that we can keep up with these funds. Thank you!
We will be celebrating the 100th day of school on Thursday, January 19th. We are asking the children to bring in a resealable bag with 100 of any object. Examples may include: cereal pieces, buttons, popcorn, pasta, rocks etc.
The children will be using these items for a variety of mathematical activities. We appreciate your assistance in helping your child to gather these materials.
