Next week, we will be starting our Earth Science unit of study. We are excited to have our first Great Lesson next week. This week the children were introduced to their work plans. Students will be keeping track of their daily assignments/lessons/accomplishments in the various subject areas. We will be allowing them another week to adjust to this time management tool. After that, if your child is having difficulty completing the majority of assignments we will be contacting you to have a discussion with your child. This week has gotten away from us so we will contact you next week with your teacher assignments. If you need to reach any of us in the meantime our email addresses are:

The classroom is fully stocked with general school supplies thanks to your donations and support. Several parents have asked if there is anything else that we need. The Amazon wish list above has some items that we would like to acquire for the classroom.
The children will be receiving their computer devices next week. If you have not filled out the technology form in Power School, your child will not receive a device. We strongly recommend that you purchase the $25 insurance. A cracked screen will cost $90 without the insurance.

Please encourage your child to read 20 minutes each day with you or independently.
Work Completion
If your child does not complete classroom work in a timely fashion they will be asked to complete this work at home as "Homework".
