Fox and Bear Community
We have had a great start to the new year in our environment. The children came back rested and eager to work. We will be starting our study of life science with a focus on animals in the coming weeks.
We would love to start having family members come in and volunteer in the classroom with reading and math skills. You will need to go through the VISTA approval program to be able to come and spend time with students. This program has become much easier than it was in the past. Please let us know if you have time and would like to volunteer with individual or groups of students. The teachers will prepare any needed materials.
Your child will be bringing home a form today that explains the Child Safety Matters program that the children will be participating in. After reading the form, please send the form back only if you wish your child to opt out of the program.

Please encourage your child to read 20 minutes each day with you or independently.
Work Completion
If your child does not complete classroom work in a timely fashion they will be asked to complete this work at home as "Homework".
