It's been a busy time in the Fox and Bear community as we practice our routines, introduce lessons, and complete the beginning-of-the-year assessments. We are enjoying getting to know one another better as the students settle in and let their personalities shine! Please see the following updates below and let us know if you have any questions.
Volunteers Needed: We are interested in starting Friday afternoon club activities. If you have availability on Fridays from 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm and are interested in leading or helping with an activity, please let us know. Club ideas include dance, yoga, crafts, games, etc.
Gifted Program: At Charles Ellis Montessori Academy, we are dedicated to providing a personalized and differentiated learning experience for every student. Our educators diligently tailor instruction to meet the unique needs of all learners, including those identified as gifted. Through individualized learning plans, advanced and enriching activities, and a supportive classroom environment, we ensure that each student is challenged and inspired to reach their fullest potential. We are committed to fostering a love of learning and helping every child thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
Community snack: We plan, prepare, and serve snack as part of our practical life work each day. We ask that families please send in a $30 gift card to either Kroger or Aldi for each semester. If you would like to send $60 for the entire year, you are welcome to do so.
Classroom Needs: Ziplock bags of all sizes! Reminder that all students must have a water bottle that closes and a pair of indoor slip-on shoes that remain here at school in their cubby.

Important Dates:
Aug. 28: PTA meeting at 6 pm in the multipurpose room.
Aug. 29: Donation Dress Down Day for $1. Can be paid with cash or at schoolcashonline.com
Aug. 30: SCCPSS e-Learning Half Day. Students will stay home this day and work remotely.
Sept. 2: Labor Day - No School
