October 23, 2020

Dear Parents,

Next week we will be discussing the process of electing officials.  The children will have the opportunity to vote in this year's election by following the procedure below:

STUDENT SIGN UP PROCESS:

1) Students go to www.2020NSME.com and click the “Student sign up” button.

2) Fill out the form and click “save”. Note: student must have teacher/ballot code to sign up.

Teacher code:  6KWTUCEJ

3) Students will be taken directly to their ballot when clicking on “save”. Once the ballot is showing, your child will click the star on the candidate that they have chosen. The star will turn blue. When all elections have been completed, your child is finished and may log out.  There is no submit button.  Favorites are automatically saved.

Conferences will be starting on Monday!  If you have scheduled a conference for next week you should be receiving a notice from Transparent Classroom informing you that your conference notes have been posted.  Please read over this conference form prior to our scheduled conference time.  By doing so, we can save our time for questions and/or concerns during our time.   Your conference will be held in our morning Zoom Office Hours which can be accessed through your child's It's Learning platform.

If you have not yet signed up for a conference you may do so by clicking on the link below.

On Friday, November 30, the children are invited to attend morning meeting in a costume.  When they arrive to the meeting they should turn off their cameras.  The other children will then ask them three questions and try to guess what their costume is.  Your child may choose to participate as it is not a requirement.   The writing lessons will take place after the costumes are revealed!
